The truth behind lies

"Who are we talking about being able to penatrate the sheilds?" He asked her looking at her.

Anything aroudn the level of a A class demon."She said looking up at him smileing softly.

"Well now we just need a bunch of people capable of warding A class demons or stronger off while we're away." ZZeferoth said jokingly. He held Umi tightly, lovingly.

umi held huged him close to her and clsoed ehr eyes and said "I think i am going to have to rest the night here and we leave tomarow..."She looked up at him softly smileing appologeticly.

Zeferoth nodded. "I would perfer it that way." he replied bending to her and kissiing her softly.

umi smiled and kissed back jsut as softly and said "I love you Zef.."

He hugged her tight and wispered. "I love you too Umi." He heald her silently. He sighed just wanting to stand here holding this beutifull woman close to him forever.

Mizumi smiled loveing the feel of his warm body against her cold one. she then said "lets head up stairs so i can sleep."she took two steps away from him and collapsed for she used more energy then she thought she had.

Zeferoth smiled at her warmly and easly picked her up in his arms. He carried her up the stairs and layed her gently on the bed getting in beside her. He covered them both up and he pulled her in close. "Sleep love, I'll make sure o one desterbes us."

Mizumi cuddled into him and slepted like the grave the entire night.

When Umi was fully asleep he crept out of the bed and out of the house. "THeir was a spring like feel to the air, it was still cold but he ignored it. He looked out to the night looking for any activity. He stretched his sences all around the island so nothing would surprose him.

A rather stong somehting was aproching there vale slinking towrds the outer streach of land put befor the water wondering how it should get across

Zeferoth ran to it trying to beat it to the edje of the sheild befor it can enter.

The thing jumped and sent to attake the sheild trying to break it.

Zeferoth was about to throw a chaos blast at it but remembered what Umi said and ran faster. He lept at the thing and threw a powerfull righ cross.

The Demon fell into the water and hissed at him as it surface and swam off knowing it was no use.

Zeferoth nodded and turned to walk back into the warmer veil.

The vail felt like a cool summer evening and after the blizzard outside it felt liek heven.

Zeferoth wondered who it was that tried to break in but decided that it was no one of importance or he would have been ablew to enter the veil easly.

Mizumi awoke looking aroudn for zef goaping fo rhim in the dark but he was not ther she started to get out of bed but as she started to stnad up her legs colapsed from under her and she wraped her arms aroudn her stomic befor ehse fell hissing in frustration.

Zeferoth came in and saw her on the floor. He hurriedly picked her up and set her on the bed. "What happpened love? Are you ok?"

"i could not find you...so i thought to go look for you and...well i guess i gave them more energy then i thought i did..."She said looking at him apploogeticly.

Zeferoth kissed her softly. "Dont worry about it, I was just helping an unwelcomed guest find his way."

Mizumi looked up at him and closed her eyes agian and falling bakcinto a dreamless sleep.

Zeferoth fell asleep this time hoping that none others came while he rested.
